The   Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) showcased its services to its various clients and stakeholders at the recently held Midlands Agricultural Show. ZIMRA took advantage of the exhibition, which ran from 29 to 31 July in Gweru, to reach out and interact with clients through various means.

The main thrust of the exhibition, which was held under the theme “ZIMRA promoting economic growth through supporting agriculture, commerce and industry”, saw ZIMRA officials handling client enquiries, making presentations on Tax and Customs issues, and distributing pamphlets with vital information on the Authority’s operations.

Vice President John Nkomo officially opened the show on July 31 and hailed participants for supporting the exhibition. Prizes were awarded to the outstanding stands and the ZIMRA stand came fourth in the parastatals category. The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority will also exhibit in Harare, Bindura, Chinhoyi, Hwange, Mutare, Masvingo, Gwanda, Chiredzi, Kadoma, Chegutu and Marondera. In addition, ZIMRA will also participate at this year’s Sanganayi/Hlanganani travel and tourism expo.

The Authority’s participation at the exhibitions allows it to constantly keep abreast with its stakeholders’ expectations and thereby find out ways to improve its operations in a bid to give excellent service delivery.
