The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) is exhibiting at this year’s edition of the Harare Agricultural Show under the theme “ZIMRA, growing beyond nine years of excellence in revenue collection, trade and travel facilitation.”

This edition offers ZIMRA a platform to commemorate its ninth anniversary which falls on September 1, 2010. Nine years ago - on September 1, 2001 to be precise - the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority was born following the amalgamation of the then Department of Customs and Excise and the Department of Taxes.

This year’s exhibition runs for 10 days under the theme “100 years of exhibition excellence”. The exhibition kick-started on Thursday August 19 at a low note as compared to last year’s event in terms of attendance.   More than 700 exhibiters are at the show, including farmers, colleges and state enterprises.
