The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA), once again, shone like a beacon of excellence as it scooped the third prize in its respective category, starving off stiff competition in the Manicaland Agricultural Show held from September 30-October 2, 2010.

 

Meanwhile, ZIMRA grabbed first prize in the Kwekwe Agricultural Show as the Authority continues to promote voluntary tax compliance through exhibiting at provincial agricultural shows nationwide, the authority also successfully participated at the Masvingo Agricultural Show which was held at the Masvingo Exhibition Park from September 24-26, 2010 under the theme, “ZIMRA participating actively in promoting national stability and self sustenance”. This accorded ZIMRA a chance to educate its clients about its operations. The well groomed and knowledgeable ZIMRA officers attended to clients enquiries and concerns

The ZIMRA stand stood out impeccably amongst other exhibitors which included institutions of higher learnig, public enterprises and other government parastatals from Masvingo Province. With years of expertise and skills, the ZIMRA stand was well decorated by well-organised officers who informed the public on ZIMRA`s role in promoting national stability and self sustenance.

 

The event, which is the most recognized and appreciated exhibition was graced and officially opened on September 25, 2010 by Mimosa Mining Company’s Managing Director, Mr Chitando was the Guest of  Honour at the function and he  presented prizes to the winning  exhibitors. Despite not getting any prize the Authority lived true to its mandate of serving the nation by addressing client’s concerns.
