The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority’s Region 2 has won the Second Runner Up accolade at the Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC) Enterprise of the Year 2017 Awards in the Public Enterprises Category. The prestigious award was in recognition of the Authority’s contribution to Ease of Doing Business in the country, and the various programmes the Authority has put in place to improve revenue collections.

Speaking at the award ceremony, which was held on 9 June 2017 in Bulawayo, ZNCC Regional Manager, Mr Mduduzi Ncube, congratulated ZIMRA for winning the award.

“As a Chamber, we wish you the best in your future business activities and join the rest of the business community in Matabeleland Region in honouring you for a job well done”, said Mr Ncube.

“I hope this recognition would inspire your organisation to continue to do well and promoting amnesty waivers for compliance by the stakeholders”, he added.

The award automatically qualifies Region 2 to contest at the national congress where top winners compete with other regions for the ZNCC National Awards Level on 30th June 2017 in Victoria Falls.
