The Acting Commissioner General, Management and Staff of the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) sincerely thank the Board for its guidance and  oversight role in pursuance of the ZIMRA mandate, and all valued clients for paying Taxes, Customs Duties and Excise Duties to promote Zimbabwe’s socio-economic development programmes.

ZIMRA is pleased to advise the Nation that the revenue target for the month of August 2017 - which stood at US$267.66 million - has been SURPASSED, courtesy of your tax compliance and support.

Gross collections amounted to US$338.29 million while refunds for the month were at US$30.35 million, resulting in net collections of US$307.95 million against a target of US$267.66 million. Net collections for the month were 15.05 percent (15.05%) above target and increased by 20.59 percent (20.59%) from the US$256.01 million that was collected during the same period last year.

Once again, thank you Zimbabwe for demonstrating patriotism through voluntarily paying Taxes, Customs Duties and Excise Duties.

ZIMRA is also pleased that measures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, to boost revenue collections, and to safeguard revenue are bearing fruits.

Siyabonga! Tinotenda! Thank You!

Paying taxes and duties on time and in full is a sign of patriotism.
